[Alan Ingersoll]

Alan Ingersoll receiving an award for "Outstanding Metalworking Craftsman of the Year" at the 1998 NAMES show in Michigan. A plaque and a check for $ 1000.00 was presented to Alan.

[curtiss v-12]

Alan also won 2nd place in the aircraft division. Here's a photo of Alan's engine, a 1/6 scale model of the Curtiss V-12 aircraft engine. The engine is accurately made with ignition, lube pump, and water pump. Alan also made the propeller.

[Twin Cam Four]

Robert Kradjian won best in show with his Twin Cam Four. The picture shows good workmanship with a high polish. Not shown is the display stand he used at the show, a polished brass and aluminum work of art. As shown in the photo the engine is quite small with about 1/2" bore and stroke.
